Arbeloa: “Rafa has convinced us we can beat the Chavs”

Reds full-back Alvaro Arbeloa today spoke of Rafa Benitez’s refusal to lie-down and concede defeat ahead of our crucial 2nd-leg against the Chavs tomorrow night in our mammoth UEFA Champions League semi-final battle.

“The own goal from Riise has left us a little shaky but that is in the past now and we are prepared for the battle in London.” enthused Alvaro.

“Boss Rafa Benitez has been clear in telling us it is possible to reverse the 1-1 scoreline and reach the final.

“We will battle from the very first minute to get the result we need.” he added.
